Around the world, millions of learners lack the skills and opportunities needed to succeed in today’s economy. Three hundred million youth are out of school, and 600 million students do not meet minimum proficiency levels in reading or math. While progress has been made in expanding access to preschool and increasing high school graduation rates, significant barriers remain to achieving a quality education for all.

Serving as the company’s global education strategy, Cummins READY™ aims to address the worldwide education crisis by creating equitable pathways to STEM education and career success for individuals around the world.

Launched in 2024, Cummins READY operates on two levels: empowering individuals to take the next step in their learning journey while also equipping institutions to sustain long-term impact. This strategy supports STEM learning and engagement across the full educational continuum delivered through strategic partnerships and key initiatives.

As Cummins READY makes steady progress toward its goal of supporting one million learners and workers by 2030, every milestone represents individuals gaining new skills, opportunities and a pathway to a stronger future.
