Cummins India, the power technology leader, participated at the 2023 WE Local Bengaluru conference and career fair organized by Society for Women Engineers (SWE) during April 26 - 28. More than 50 representatives from Cummins, including global and India leaders, participated at the event as speakers, SWE global ambassadors, talent scouts, and conference attendees. 

Participating across panel discussions, speaker sessions, networking events, and career fair at the event were notable leaders from Cummins, including Annapurna Vishwanathan, Chief Information Officer, Cummins India; Kavita Kaushik, Quality Champion and Director – Quality and Six Sigma, Cummins India; Karen Ramsey-Idem, Global Technical Operations Excellence and Capacity Planning Leader, Cummins Inc.; Neema Nair, Technical Director, Cummins India; Tushar Khobragade, Technical Director, Cummins India; Zakee Sheikh, Talent Acquisition Leader, Cummins India; and Dipti Bapat, Cummins Software and Electronics – Internal Combustion Engine Platform Leader, Cummins India.

Over 300 conference participants visited the Cummins India booth at the SWE Career Fair to engage with Cummins leaders, talent scouts and SWE ambassadors, and learn more about Cummins’s technology innovations, culture, career opportunities, and success stories of women in tech. In line with the company's commitment to advancing women's interest and participation in STEM fields, a special 'Meet the Leader' session was organized for the conference participants. The session provided a platform for the participants to interact with Cummins leaders and talent scouts, gain insights on the role of technology in driving business innovation, and receive valuable advice on pursuing a successful career in engineering and manufacturing.
